What the numbers say

The Raccoons won on distribution, not on muscle

Forty-four of their forty-five bodies put a hit on the board. Thirty-two of our fifty-eight did. Their top five carried 25% of their score; our top five carried 55%. Widen it to ten and the gap holds — 42% against 81%.

Our hits were not weaker. We scored 8.77 points per hit against their 9.02 — effectively level. They simply threw 793 more punches. This war was lost on participation, and nothing else in this report changes that.

43% of our swings on the war's own day went at somebody else

Sunday 23 August was 22h 42m of war and barely an hour of peace. Across that day the Remnants landed 481 ranked-war hits — and 356 attacks on targets outside the war. Not idle. Not asleep. Aimed somewhere else.

The energy was there. It was spent on the wrong roster. That is a briefing problem, not a willingness problem, and it is the cheapest thing on this page to fix.

The syrup is not a wall

NEXUS observed 655 separate hospital stays across the 42 Remnants under hourly watch. 235 of them — 36% — were self-administered Ipecac Syrup. More of our hospital time was self-inflicted than was inflicted by Raccoon Rumpus (201 stays).

Syrup parks you for well under an hour. It is a speed bump against a faction that hits around the clock, and every dose is a bar that never became a hit.

Their damage was spread as deliberately as their scoring

No single Raccoon dominated the wall. AyzCream leads the parking table at 22 confirmed stays, then a long flat tail — Bignus, Rohdry, Kaikcoup, big_Stod, Tom9427. They worked the bottom of our roster in shifts. 133 stays came in stealthed, attacker unnamed, so the true totals run higher than the named counts below.

"Our stays" counts confirmed hospital stays that attacker put on the 42 watched Remnants. Their stealthed hits are not attributable and are excluded.

Method

War hits and war score — Torn API v2 /faction/47774/rankedwarreport. Official, per member, both factions. Nothing on this page overrides it.
Assists, outside hits, defends, consumables — /user/<id>/personalstats day-boundary deltas, end of 21 Aug to end of 23 Aug TCT. Torn writes personal stats once a day, so 48 hours is the tightest window that fully contains a 31h 42m war. It carries 15 hours of peacetime before the bell and 1h18m after it — treat "outside hits" over the full window as an upper bound. The war-day figure quoted in the findings uses the 23 August boundary alone, which is 22h 42m war and 1h18m peace.
Validation — the ranked-war-hit delta reproduced the official report exactly for 57 of 58 members. The single exception is Bough, whose ranked-war-hit counter did not write a record for 23 August; his 31 hits are taken from the official report and his attack total corrected accordingly.
Hospital attribution — NEXUS hourly player snapshots, 655 distinct stays keyed by release time. Hourly sampling misses stays shorter than the gap, so these are confirmed minimums, not a census. The census figure is "defends lost" in the roster table: 1,944 across the roster.
Raid hits (44 in window) are excluded from both war hits and outside hits.
